Winter Classes offered at the Burkhardt Gallery in Pacific City, Oregon

Block Printing; Fridays, 1:00 to 3:00  January to February 29 (no class February 22nd)

Most materials provided.  Bring a sketch book, pencil and eraser to class. 

This class involves cutting a block, registering paper, printing in black and white and in color and learning to make reduction cuts.  Learn  a skill you can practice on your kitchen table.     

Fee:  $65.00  seven classes

Portraiture; Sundays, 1:00 to 3:00    January 13 to February 24

Bring your own drawing, painting, sketching materials.  No oils please.  This class will focus on basic drawing skills in relation to the human face; proportion, color, shading, resemblance.  If we need to pay a model, there  will be an additional modeling fee.  Volunteer models welcome.   Fee:  $40.00  seven classes
