Marilyn
Burkhardt is a sculptor, painter and printmaker who lives
with her two dogs and two draft horses by a pond in a meadow
tucked
into the Oregon Coast Range.
She uses her talent to express her love for animals and nature.
After receiving her Masters Degree in Fine Arts from the University
of Oregon she moved to the Oregon Coast where she could live
closer
to the heartbeat of nature.
She recently began painting again, and has been publishing giclées,
high-quality digital reproductions, of her creations.
Her
book Brutus Goes to the Seashore, about her beloved dog Brutus
who made the move with her to the Coast, is now available
in a
hard-bound edition.
